Since its inception in 2020, the Jasiri Talent Investor (JTI) programme has successfully delivered 10 cohorts, eight across East Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, and Rwanda) and two in South Africa, welcoming a total of 383 fellows. Of these, 292 fellows successfully progressed to the venture creation stage, resulting in the launch of 94 active ventures.
Cohort 1 - Tai Cohort
The Tai Cohort consisted of 28 fellows, with 17 of them actively progressing to the venture creation stage, resulting in the establishment of 9 ventures.
Cohort 2 - Zua Cohort
In the Zua Cohort, there were 48 fellows, and 36 of them advanced to the venture creation stage, collectively founding 16 ventures.
Cohort 3 - Simba Cohort
The Simba Cohort boasted 48 fellows, with 38 fellows who advanced to the venture creation stage, culminating in the establishment of 17 ventures.
Cohort 4 - Nuru Cohort
The Nuru Cohort included 49 fellows, and among them, 44 proceeded to the venture creation stage, ultimately giving rise to 19 established ventures.
